James checks out the camera. Looking mighty fine too!

Paying close attention in class!

Check out those spherical cheeks!

James contemplates his chat up lines

Mum it seemed to work! What do I do now? She's all over me!!!

James and Milly say hello to each other!

As you can see he's pretty happy to be putting on some weight thanks to the great new puree diet regime.

A nice smile for Daddy before bedtime

Who needs teethers when there's stuff like this?

Seeing as Mum and Dad had polished off the choccies James decided to tuck into the empty tray!

Wrapped up nice and warm after yet another late afternoon, dark and cold walk

Having seen the skill in operation earlier we decided to give it a go!

James was much more interested in the lights than the altitude but it's a start!!!

James is certainly looking forward to his first Christmas. So are mummy and daddy!

And he just can't hide it!

Having regained some control, I think he likes it!!!!

James is becoming a dab hand at sitting up unaided for long periods now.

It's only when his favourite rattle or toy heads out of range that we end up on the mat.

Putting the Bumbo this close to his soon to be opened high chair was a recipe for exploration!

Yes, the box did eventually get chewed!

Another new phase! He's taken to putting both hands behind his head and grinning. Maybe when he can talk he'll tell us why!

James shows us how much he's grown as we give his legs a bit of a workout.

Mummy and James have a "moment" together!

Just another piccy of our lovely little smiley man!

We nipped out at lunchtime to say hello and give a birthday hug & cuddle to Auntie Shelley!

A very happy James awoke at a parent friendly hour on his first Christmas!

Our wonderful Bumbo holds the little man in place for a piccie with the tree...

...but not for long! Precisely 5 seconds after the previous photo, this happens!

Not too enamoured by his first Christmas lunch as you can see! Blame the dreaded lumpy food! With mummy around he better get used to it!

Only half an hour late, daddy works wonders with our fantastic oven.

James of course has his eyes on a much tastier dinner than his own!

When you have access to mummy's amazing fluffy slippers!

James gave his mum a card saying how great he thinks she is. There was even a badge to go with it!

James opens his very first Christmas present!

Daddy helps out with the unwrapping of another gift!

After a huge dinner we needed to walk it off, so off to Roath Park lake again where a nice chap took our picture.

Daddy and James pose for a picture after opening a few more pressies.

Contrary to popular belief, Chris does in fact dress himself and it is pure coincidence that he and his son match perfectly!

Wow look at this wonderful wrapping paper. So much more fun than what was in it!

Daddy, watch this!

James vanishes from view, apart from a foot and elbow!

We take a trip out west to introduce James to the Parrotts!

Great Uncle Andy gets a cuddle.

Auntie Laura has a cwtch too!

Great Auntie Flig finally gets to say hello!

After a lovely morning with the Parrotts, it's off to Murton for lunch. James is obviously very pleased when he found out lunch isn't the same lumpy stuff as yesterday!

The cups and blocks are proving to be a great hit. Chewy, colourful and they make good noises when whacked together. What more do you need?!!!

James helps out with the unwrapping.

After getting a taste for wrapping paper, James has a go at eating a bit more!

We popped down to the south coast for a few days away at Granny and Grandads'. All the nice floorspace was just asking to be played on!

James has taken up skydiving in his spare time recently. We think this is a precursor to crawling as he gets frustrated after a few "dives".

I couldn't resist posting a few more smiley ones! He's just such a happy chappy!

It's tough being me!

James enjoys the peekaboo session!

Another great pressie for Christmas. I've been a very lucky boy!

Bathtimes now are a very different affair to how they were. Basically it's time for James to soak mummy and daddy!

As many seasoned James watchers will know, the phrase above cues James to shut his eyes, knowing he's about to get drenched. We finally got a picture of it!

I thought little boys were supposed to hate bathtime?!!

After bathtime, it's time to be "greased up" to stop his skin drying. Emma performs her amazing twinkly hands thing which totally mesmerizes James!

Again, the veteran James fans out there will know this face well!!!
