James doesn't seem perturbed in any way by his new environment, in fact it's a whole new playground!

With plenty of unpacking to do, James and Sophie entertain themselves amongst the debris of the move.

Of course everyone wants to come and see the new pad, so Sophie takes it on herself to show Grandma around.

With Big Ted helping out, James shows Big Rog around the garden.

A lovely pose from Sophie as she looks at Grandma.

The Thomas girls share a kiss and cuddle in the kitchen.

Daddy and James headed into town to go shopping. James of course spotted Thomas outside!

So after completing the shopping James had a play on Thomas. Do you think he likes riding on the train?!

We can prop Sophie up to give her a better view of the world around her. She certainly seems to be scheming something here!

Auntie Jo, Joshie and Alicia came round to visit for a few days and James was naturally very happy to see his cousin!

With Daddy raking the leaves, the lads came outside to help.

After doing the raking, Daddy shows the boys what fun can be had!

Up in the sky go the leaves!

Joshie and James certainly seem to be enjoying themselves.

After playing in the leaves, Daddy decides to put them on the compost heap.

Ever helpful James, grabs some leaves and puts them on the pile.

With the gardening done, James and Joshie play together inside.

While the boys play with their toys, the girls entertain themselves on the play mat.

5 Month old Sophie is now getting more adventurous day by day. She's trying to roll here and not doing a bad job!

A favourite of James' is playing with balloons. Here Mummy blows it up and then lets it go. The anticipation before it's released is just as good as watching it fly!

When's it going to fly?!!

Wheeeee! There it goes!!!

Totally unflustered by the commotion, Sophie caries on sleeping as usual!

James had great fun with the balloon game and Mummy seemed to enjoy it too!

The often repeated, "Do it again!" was heard over and over as James wanted to see the balloon fly off making its noise.

How many people can you fit on a 2 seater sofa?! Six isn't a bad start!

All too soon, it was time for the visitors to head back. A nice hug between James and Joshie softens the blow.

One of the greatest inventions for baby kind, the Bumbo, is out again and helping Sophie sit up unaided.

James sometimes says "What a funny face" and pulls this great gurning expression!

Today was James' last day at his old Cardiff nursery. It was a lovely sunny day as he said goodbye to all his favourites there.

James didn't seem too sad at leaving, even though it's been a great place to play and learn.

Leaving his friend Milly will be tough though. I think they'll miss each other!

James gets special cuddles from all his key workers.

You don't get more genuine full on hugs than this one. It's a shame that they'll not be seeing each other so often now.

One last play and then it's off back to our new house!

James tucks into some toast and looks very little on that big chair!

Only a few days after James' last day in nursery, Milly and Julie come over to see us in the new house.

James and Milly take some time to read a book together.

James shows Milly the "bouncy castle room" and both naturally want to do some bouncing!

Grandma pops in to say hello and poses for a photo with her two grandchildren.

Sophie gets a special cuddle from Grandma.

Sophie uses the bath chair on bath nights and it's great at keeping her upright. She does recline into it a little though!

I think someone has been splashing Granny!

With some showery weather there are plenty of puddles to be found. James wears his wet weather gear and goes off in search of puddles to jump in.

These two must be related!

Grandad and Sophie share a cuddle on the sofa and the camera captures it as usual!

While Sophie plays on her playmat, James comes along to investigate, fortunately playing nicely together this time!

At bath times, just as James did before her, Sophie likes it when Mummy waves her fingers above her.

Daddy can't do this!

Today was weaning day and Em managed to grab a few pictures of Sophie as she had her first "proper" meal!

Ever observant and willing to copy us, James decides that Big Ted needs some milk so gives him milk in the same way Mummy feeds Sophie! Em finds it very funny!

Great capture! Big Ted does a big burp after his milk!

We give our children such exciting things to play with. Sophie is kept entertained by a yogurt pot!

After putting the baby bouncer up in a suitable place, Sophie checks out this new contraption.

Sophie has a good look at her feet after working out how to bounce!

With a few minutes experience, Sophie really likes it and spins and bounces away happily.

Yet more autumn leaves to clear, and James and Grandpa help Daddy clear up some more.

As ever with James, mischief isn't far away, and he shows Grandpa how to throw leaves up in the air!

So much for all those nice tidy leaves!

Another meal for Sophie and she has got the hang of this spoon based eating very quickly!

Sophie took to her food really well and even after a few days it was as if she'd been eating that way for months.

Grandpa and GranGran came over for the day and as usual there were strict orders of custody over each of our two!

Sophie has such a straight back and holds her posture beautifully!

James invented this game of running out of the lounge, shouting "Here I come!" and then running back in, flying to a stop on the bean bag. Oh, to have his energy!

Not a usual sight or sound in the Thomas household but on it was and James waited for the singing before joining in with a bit of dancing!

No one was spared the dancing, well maybe Daddy while he snapped away getting the evidence!

Secretly I think all the grown ups quite enjoyed themselves!
