With an invitation for Sunday lunch from Milly's Mum and Dad, we headed back to Cardiff for a lovely afternoon which involved a nice walk around the park. James and Milly both loved playing football amidst the autumn leaves.

Posing on the bench for a photo, both James and Milly reveal that they have bought their favourite pals with them!

Big Ted and Pickles settle down to watch a bit of Peppa Pig!

Not to feel left out, Sophie lets us know she's having a lovely time too!

Sophie gives her Daddy a lovely smile as she checks out what she can see over Mummy's shoulder.

The girls share another smile.

James decides to burn off some of his endless energy by doing a spot of dancing!

How else can you describe this but as "just gorgeous"!

Sophie is pretty good at being upright but she still wobbles, maybe with excitement! This photo is part of a few that were taken and this was mid wobble, which resulted in Daddy taking a good old bash to the cheek!

Still, no harm done to either Thomas, and we still managed a lovely picture of Daddy and daughter!

Often towards mid-afternoon, James tells us that he's not tired and wants to watch a bit of Bob. Popping back in 5 minutes later the truth is revealed!

Sophie is getting to be much more active and does much wiggling around on her playmat. This is the classic bottom in the air pose!

Also she's getting more adventurous and is curious to see what's around her by rolling on to her side.

With a bit of tummy time to help those neck muscles develop, she quickly manages to roll back on to her back!

We can usually get a few minutes of tummy time before she gets a little upset but it certainly looks like she's going swimming here!

Being in a strange house for the weekend, will she give her Daddy a little smile?

It was never in doubt!

And once she's started smiling, those smiles last for ages!

After a good nights sleep, James is full of energy again and fortunately there is a playpark just across the road from Prav & Pritis house!

As is usual, it's mandatory to try out just about all the features of the playground!

The roundabout is fun too! Both James and Daddy had a great time!

The sun came out mid morning and we all went out for a nice walk. A bridge over the river was the perfect opportunity for James' first introduction to Pooh Sticks. After throwing his stick in James waits excitedly for it to appear on the other side of the bridge!

Fortunately, Daddy had uprooted a large dead plant which meant plenty of sticks for everyone! James quickly grabbed another stick and plays again!

Just like Peppa Pig, James loves playing in muddy puddles and after the torrential rains from the previous few days, they weren't in short supply!

With Auntie Alison acting as camerawoman, James and Daddy had great fun playing in the puddles and running wild!

Having walked a long way and thoughts of lunch on everyones minds, we managed to find a short cut across the fields through some big tall grass (when you're 2½!)

It wasn't very buggy friendly, but with plenty of helpers on hand, we made short work of the fences!

As we headed back, we saw a flock of sheep. I'm not sure who was more curious!

As Daddy and James edged closer, the sheep became more confident and James less so, so a cuddle was necessary for a good look at them!

Almost back home but still one final puddle to jump into!

Oh no! What is Mummy going to say?

We'd booked a table in a nearby eatery, and Sophie managed to sleep through most of the meal. Once awake, she had some catching up to do with her smiling!

Although her sitting is pretty good, she still has a few hiccups along the way!

Never mind, let's give it another try!

After all the fresh air earlier and the excitement of playing with Louis, Enzo and all the grown ups, it had taken it's toll and the journey back was a guaranteed sleep!

Once back home, even though it was quite late, both James and Sophie were wide awake and after James had some pre-bed toast, Sophie wanted to get in on the act!

With the house still looking a bit of a tip after the move, numerous things are where the shouldn't be and James enjoys playing with a cable tidy, pretending to be a fireman!

James enjoys pretending to go to sleep and then waking up again precisely one second later! After wrapping him up in the blanket and saying goodnight the excitement of the game is almost too much!

Sophie on the other hand does sleep properly. She was so tired before her dinner that she promptly fell asleep sitting up!

As Sophie munches on her dinner, something certainly has her attention, most likely James being a tinker!

After a prune based dinner, a liberal amount of it is plastered around her chops!

With more play time on the mat, Sophie discovers the mirror and wonders who the figure with the black flashy box is looking at her?!

James and Daddy take a trip to the garden centre and James discovers a "rocking cow". Fortunately, he's under three so he can try it out!

A bit of a mug shot this one, but very cute. I'll resist the rabbit in the headlights pun though.

Sophie is fascinated by her big brother and loves it when the play together!

James wanted to play with Sophie's rabbit, so we agreed that James had to let Sophie play with Skip. It seemed to work and they played very nicely together!

We both love this picture!

After a good session of playing with his sister, James invented a new game of bunny bounding!

While Mummy and Daddy had been chatting, Sophie had managed to get Mummy's yogurt spoon entwined in her clothes and into her mouth! It only takes a few seconds!

After bathtime and with both children getting ready for bed, Sophie decides to start singing and giving us both some wonderful smiles!

Daddy wanted to get a picture of his favourite three and asked them to pose in a line.

James didn't want to smile but instead of using "cheese" as a smile word, the use of the phrase "Chocolate biscuits" soon got everyone grinning!

While Mummy did James' teeth, Sophie had a little bit of pre bed tummy time.

I really like this picture, it shows what a happy little bundle Sophie is!

How else can you describe it but just a perfect little girl!
