Late March 2008 Birding Pictures & News - to 30th March 2008

27th March. A trip down to Hampshire has allowed me to pick up a few more nice photos. Yet another trip to the wonderful Keyhaven reserve was rewarded with 4 new photograph ticks. Spoonbill, Spotted Redshank, Dartford Warbler and Red-Breasted Merganser with also good views of Brent Geese, Skylark, Rock Pipit and Reed Bunting.

28th March. The next day, and after the rain had stopped, I drove over to Blashford Lakes to hopefully pick up a few more pictures. I wasn't disappointed, with 2 new species in Lesser Redpoll and Goldeneye. Again I also got some lovely views of other finches such as Brambling, Siskin, Goldfinch and Pied Wagtail.
